Job Corps provides free education to suit your career goals. Not only do they teach important trades, but they also provide life-skills education to help with the transition from aging out of the foster care system.
Apprenticeships are available in nearly every major city and you can qualify for one with a high school diploma or GED. Not only are apprenticeships free, the companies that sponsor them also pay a starting wage to live off of. The industries most available include construction, plumbing, engineers, and metal workers.
